Called “The Versace of Asia” by Michael Kors, Barney Cheng remains one of Hong Kong's most prestigious designers. His many major clients include Swarkovski, DeBeers, Ebel and Mercedes-Benz.

Famed for his unerring instinct for the exquisite, Cheng's past triumphs have included a breathtaking diamond wedding gown created in collaboration with DeBeers. He was also the natural first choice when The Italian Trade Commission wished to showcase jewellery designs at its 'Oro D' Autore Third Millennium' Expo. Marks & Spencer (an internationally renowned 'Comfort Zone' and exclusive namesake collection) and Ebel (the Beluga couture collection) are others who have regularly called upon Cheng's uncompromising flair. In recent years, the designer has further added to his blue chip client list by working with household names such as Tai Ping Carpets, Mercedes-Benz and Langham Hotels International. In 2008, Cheng became the only Chinese designer to earn a place in Swarovski's ground-breaking 'Unbridaled' wedding fantasy book.
