Automotive excellence at its most breathtaking
Formerly Director of Advanced Design, General Motors (Europe) and currently Vice President Exterior Design at Renault’s Technocenter in Guyancourt, France, Anthony Lo has had a successful career spanning major marques such as Lotus and Audi.
First unveiled in 2006, Lo and his team’s daring Aero X concept car for Scandinavian automaker, Saab, is a classic example of Lo’s influence by car designing legend, Giorgetto Giugiaro. Topping off chicly sleek minimalist modern lines with a striking, slide-open removable canopy, the vehicle not only acknowledges Saab’s illustrious aviation heritage but also warmly embraces both the sun and the future. To date, the Aero X has been acclaimed wherever it has been displayed. Its ground-breaking design has also been showered with coveted international design awards them. Prominent among them are Best of Show at the 2006 Geneva Auto Show, 2006 Concept Car of the Year from Autocar, and 2006 Design of the Year from Car Design News.
