Philip Dodd is an internationally recognised expert in the field of culture, creative industries and tourism. He has been described as a "visionary Briton" by the Australian newspaper, Herald Sun and as "one of the top 50 UK design gurus" by Design Week magazine.

Over the last ten years, he has been an influential figure within UK government circles. He has helped the government develop its cultural and creative industries strategy and was part of a small group which developed cultural ideas for the government's long-term strategy and for one election manifesto. He is creative consultant to the UK Pavilion at the World Expo in Shanghai this year.

He has also worked extensively in China; and has been advisor on creative industries to the Chaoyang government, Beijing and senior international advisor to the annual Shanghai eArts Festival, the largest digital arts festival in the world. In Hong Kong, he is consultant to Art HK, the most successful art fair in Asia and an advisor to one of the bids for the West Kowloon development.

For seven years, he was Director of the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in London, and has been the curator of many exhibitions including major exhibitions with the architect Rem Koolhaas, who built Beijing's new CCTV building.

He is an award winning broadcaster for the BBC.

他曾连续七年担任伦敦当代艺术协会 (ICA) 的总监,且是众多重要展览的策展人,其中包括与设计北京新央视大楼的建筑师Rem Koolhaas 共同合作的展览。

同时,他还是 BBC一位屡次获奖的播音评论员和编辑。
